Sensible is asking (on twitter) what the set list for the Motorhead support slot should be. Bearing in mind the audience, what would you say?

The Damned Top 20, as voted for by the fans .... but I suppose that's a long shot and maybe not very appropriate ! Your pick is cool though (except for
Amen which could be replaced by Ignite or HOTW).

I just put Amen in cos I thought Grave Disorder should get a look in. I originally thought Ignite! I replied to Caps twit that he should look at the top 20. No response yet but then he probably has better things to do on a Friday night. Let's all Twit him, the campaign starts here! |

I know loads of people on here love Amen, it's one of my least favourites. That's just me though. I don't mind what they play to be honest. I
love them all.

I know quite a few Motorhead fans who are going to the Manchester Apollo gig and they will be Gutted if the Damned don't play Eloise!!!

I'd agree with most of Cosmic Dandy's list but would have "Love Song" ,"Nasty" and "Second Time Around" instead of
"Amen", "Under The Wheels" and "Stretcher Case".
"Smash It Up" is a superb choice for the starter; it will win the crowd immediately. Who could not like "Smash It Up"? Also, before anyone thinks that the set should be all fast and heavy stuff because it's Motorhead, note that Motorhead do do the odd slow number now and then, believe it or not.

Are you at Manchester Kev? I have my ticket so should be there
My first thought would be for a more up-tempo set, but guessing that Motorhead have a very sizeable following of fans from way back, maybe the odd slower classic wouldn't go amiss. "Plan 9 Channel 7" should be in there I think, along with "Melody Lee". And yes, Eloise. Dog |

I would love to hear the following live:
Grimly Fiendish Drinking about my baby Disguise Gigolo Song.com Silly Kids Games Bad time for Bonzo Shallow Diamonds However all of these are unlikely, especially at motordamned.... The other usuals too (Melody lee, neat neat neat etc....) Noise Noise Noise would also go down well.... I could list it for ever! I think using the top 20 would be a bit boring after a while, so just take it as a guideline... adapt. (I don't think they should do Curtain Call this time round... means less songs!) |

Curtain Call (6 mins)
Love Song/2nd Time Around New Rose Fan Club Wait for The Blackout Ignite Anti-Pope Plan 9 Limit Club Under The Floor Again Absinthe Dark Asteroid (6-7 mins) Neat Neat Neat Nasty Smash It Up hmmm - I reckon that would take 70 mins or so, doubt they'd get that sort of stage time but it'd tick all the boxes for me (well apart the 40+ other songs I'd love to see them do!) Fast and furious start, getting more and more pschedelic and then going out with a bang! |

Do you think these gigs will be live streamed? I hope so. I wonder how long a slot The Damned will get?
Jet, if they play Gigolo, Grimly Fiendish and Diamonds at a Motorhead crowd they might not get out alive!! |
